Introduction
The importance of copying your files cannot be stressed enough. All of our office servers can be used to keep your data safe. This is provided in a number of ways.
- Server Redundant Drive (supplied as standard)
Each of the hard disk drives inside the server will hold an exact copy of the office data. If any of the drives fail, then a spare will automatically take over. - External Drive Rotation (optional extra)
A USB hard disk drive is attached to the server which copies all of the data. The external drives are changed on a revolving basis. The minimum number is 2. For companies generating large amounts of data, we recommend one for every working day of the week. - Off-Site Backup (optional extra)
This sends data out of the office and across the internet securely to a remote location.
In the unfortunate event of on-site data loss, options 2 and 3 can be used to recover data.
